Trader Joe’s :)

I had a terrific weekend. As per plan it involved no cooking, no cleaning, lots of eating and shopping. Above all I managed to squeeze some time out for the one and only Trader Joe’s. And honestly I did not want to leave the store. I must have circled around the store at least 5  times. I wanted to be sure I see everything even if I don’t buy it.  Thanks to all your suggestions, I picked up some of stuff all suggested.

My loot,

Whole wheat pizza doughs .

Curry flavored Naan bread and 5 seed almond bars

Peach Salsa
Chipotle Salsa
Fat Free Refried Black beans

Masala simmer sauce

Raw Almond butter and Fair Trade Organic coffee.

With a heavy heart I left the store but promised myself I’ll be back soon 😉

Workout for today:

Couch to 5K: Week 2 Day 1. I really struggled today after a two day break from the gym. I think my falling sick may have been  the cause of the struggle.

In other news, I am sick. Last night I spilled half of the laundry detergent container. There was detergent everywhere, I inhaled so much of it that my nose and throat is all scratchy and raw. To make things worse, I am sore and feverish. I think I am typing this post half delirious!

I hope ya’ll had a great weekend!!

  1. You have two of my favs up there! Whole wheat pizza dough and the unsalted almond butter. LOVE it!

I hope you are feeling better. 🙂

    • Roni~ I remember you using WW pizza dough for one of your recipes and mentioning about TJ’s dough in particular!!!

  2. I am sorry you are sick too! It must be going around. Hopefully you’ll recover faster than me.

Glad you found the Masala Simmer Sauce, that stuff is great. Ali has no idea that I make chicken salaan just like his mom does, via TJ’s help. 🙂

  3. Sick from laundry detergent, yikes! That doesn’t sound good. I bet the workout will help, even if it was tougher than normal.

Looks like you got a lot of great stuff at TJs! I love that place. I have never tried their coffee but have always wanted to. I LOVE their almond butter.

  4. Hope you feel better soon! Love your TJs haul – some of my favourites and some products I haven’t seen before. I need to go back there soon!
