Things that will keep me busy for the next few months..

Saturday: A Lazy day. I don’t plan for anything on this particular day. This is mostly the day when we fix our computers, watch a marathon of DVRed shows, plan for the week, catch up big time on our lives. I am a big mimic and I love to enact and show the odd characters I meet during the week to the husband. No kidding, I have been doing that for my parents previously and now for the husband. I can be pretty animated you know 🙂

Sunday: Mostly the day I execute the haphazard plan I make on Saturday, grocery shopping, cleaning the apt., deep clean one thing and cook, plan my workouts for the week and meals!

Monday to Friday: Wake up—> GYM—>Shower—> Lab—> Back home—> Dinner—> some more work –> Blogging and blog reading –> sleep!

To add some zing to my life I have the following things to accomplish in the next few days/months,

  • Finish up my lab work
  • Do extensive data analysis
  • Start writing my master’s thesis.
  • Defend my master’s thesis by April 30

and now comes the scariest of them all, FIND, APPLY and GET a JOB. I am shivering with fear!

Here’s hoping everything will go well fingerscrossed I’ll post my resolutions 2011 post very soon.

In the kitchen:

Angela’s Tahini lemon dressing. Since I did not add the EVOO, it was more like a dip than dressing. I made a modification to the dip and 1/2 tsp of tomato sauce.

I think this is the most amazing salad I have made. The salad contained,

  • Organic baby spring mix
  • Mushroom lovers’ burgers
  • Red onion
  • Wasabi lima beans
  • dill pickles
  • Gala apple
  • and the dip!

  1. Shoot, being that I work full time and am in school too, every day is crazy busy in its own regard! Monday – work and class. Tuesday – work and spiritual advisory. Wednesday – work and yoga. Thursday – work and yoga. Friday – work. Saturday – class (for 8 hours!). Sunday – do all the shiz I didn’t get done during the week (cooking, cleaning, homework, sometimes more work). CA-RAZY 24/7!! 😀

  2. Hope you’re staying warm with all that snow!

  3. Yea, you definitely have a lot coming up! You can handle it all though I’m sure. 🙂

  4. Keeping my fingers crossed for you on the job front! I bet you will find something fabulous. I can’t believe all of the snow everywhere!

  6. This dip looks delish, i’m going to try to make it soon! I’m sick of greek, basalmic, ginger, and even ranch. Hopefully this will zest up my salads! ❤
