Chefs in my kitchen

First, i would like to thank all the lovely ladies who left me sweet and motivating comments on my last post. I really appreciate all of them!

**

We are delta flyers and accumulate their skymiles. On our trip to Hawaii, we flew United. Since we don’t fly united at all our miles were about to expire which meant we had to use them asap. We decided to use the miles and buy something from their website.

So please welcome, Rachel Ray and Paula Deen in The Healthy Diary kitchen 🙂

I have been eyeing these baking sets for so long now, I knew I had to buy them the moment I saw them.

Since I had exhausted most of my miles on this bakeware, I had little to use for another product, but it was just enough to get this Paula Deen spatula set.

On to the eats,

My standard breakfast, Iced coffee with pb and J on toast.

Dinner: We went all Indian tonight with spinach dal, brown rice and Indian pickle. YUMM!

Need some greens in my diet.

Workout: I have been only doing 20 minutes of yoga these days and nothing else.

03.07: Power vinyasa flow yoga

03.08: Yoga for weight loss

Q. What reality show are you watching these days? I am into Bethenney ever after these days.

Q. One random question, do you know anything about cricket and I am not talking about the insect or phone service! Let’s see if you can answer this one.

  1. Tell me about this Indian pickle… I love all things pickled!

  2. I need some more greens in my diet too., I get kinda lazy sometimes & forget them & the salad. Your meal looks awesome though. Nice bake wear too, I could do with some of that.

  3. hey Priyanka,
I am not watching any reality shows nowadays but waiting for Apprentice to start and being an Indian I know all about cricket you can’t escape it here

  4. Hey Priyanka! Your cool new bake-ware is completely envy-inducing! congratulations!
and cricket?? Havent you heard of the saying that cricket and bollywood are religions in India? 😀 so yes, am a complete cricket-crazy woman… and since I’m a media professional, I even had the chance to work on the 2007 Cricket World Cup 🙂 can tell you it was one helluva experience thanks to India getting beaten by minnows like Bangladesh! 😦 But hey, am back in the middle of cricket-mania with this year’s Worl Cup 🙂

  5. I have got to learn to make a good iced coffee! Now I know what my peanut butter lunches have been missing 😉

  6. oww! I have that same Rachael Ray set….well- 1 piece, the other broke when it was accidentally dropped. It rocks. Bethenney is an awesome show- she totally cracks me up

  7. I do not know anything about cricket… I used to see a lot of Indian grad students playing it out in a field when I was an undergrad, but that’s all I know haha! They looked like they were having a good time 🙂
Your dal looks so good! Do you have a recipe?

  8. The bakeware looks so nice! I love the shape of it.

That yoga site is really neat.. I like how you can just download a 20 minute workout! I’ll have to try some out- are they good?

I love nothing more than a trashy reality show and right now I don’t miss an episode Teen Mom or The X-Life. I hate how those shows will just suck you in so quickly!

  9. All I know is that Ali’s Pakistani cousins are obsessed with cricket! I mean they get up at odd hours of the night just to watch it. I personally know zero about it and Ali even less. 🙂

  10. I really love cake and cupcake making shows, doesn’t that count as reality tv? I literally know nothing about the game or cricket though=/

  11. I’m curious about the Indian pickle too! I haven’t had time to watch any reality TV lately, but I used to love Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.
