Hello blog friends, I hope you had a great Mother’s day, celebrating this wonderful day honoring and cherishing each and every moment with one of the most important person in your life.

Thanks Mum for being our support system and always being there for us. Words cannot do justice to your love, sacrifice and patience with us!

Did you get a chance to celebrate the day with your mum? Not for me, but I certainly spoke to her a million times today πŸ™‚

**

Workout: I ran 2 miles in 24 minutes today. I thought my shins were on fire.

My question for all the seasoned runners out there, my race is next Saturday. How much should I run this week?

**

Dinner: I had dosas today for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am a north Indian and making north Indian dishes comes more naturally Β to me. Even after getting a fully pre-made batter for making these dosas, I cannot get them to cook paper thin, tasty nevertheless.

Some more sweet treats were made in the kitchen today. PB and Chocolate cookie dough balls. The husband is loving these creations and hence I am not stopping.

Have a good start to the week tomorrow.

  1. I’m with your husband – I can’t get enough of raw snack balls either! And yay for mums!

  2. I love how down to earth you are, Priyanka!
Well we have one more thing in common – north indian πŸ™‚
That is a beautiful picture that you put up there. Hope you enjoyed your mothers day and great going on the running! Good luck with your race! Go, girl πŸ™‚

  3. Lovely picture of you with your mom. My mother’s day was similar to yours I just spoke to my mom over the phone.

I used to use the pre made mix for dosa batter but they never turned out well. I am not big cook but I being a South Indian learning to make dosa batter was kind of a necessity to feed myself. But still I can’t get them like the one’s back home.

your ideal day is almost perfect, except for that 5am waking up time and 9.30 sleep time looks like those are the most difficult to attain ( atleast for me).

  4. Ohh I like the look of those peanut butter cookie dough balls! Will you be posting a recipe??

  5. Cute picture of you with your Mama πŸ™‚ And the dosas look awesome! I’ve never heard of them, but feel like I need to try them now!! And always love making up sweet treats. I just finished baking bars and cookies for the man!

  6. Such a sweet picture of you and your mom!

  8. Your Mom looks adorable! πŸ™‚

And I want those DOSAS!!! I wish you stayed close by I would raid your house for my meals! πŸ™‚
