Alive.

Woah, its been a week since my last post! Just wanted to check in and say that I am alive! As I type this post, I feel so disconnected from the rest of the blog world, well I guess this is what a week of hibernation does to ya.

I have been going through a really tough phase in my life, which I cannot talk about right now, but I hope I can in a few days. It has been the reason for my absence and I really did not want to set a wrong tone on the blog by posting amidst all this. Now that I am mentally in a much better state I hope to get this blog thing rolling again, what say?!

Well as expected in any stressful situation, the eats were a bit sub par and I did not have the mood to cook either. We lived off leftovers, veggie burgers and PB and J. Let me just add and say, that the husband has been a champ throughout this process, he has eaten what I gave him, tolerated my mood swings and helped me tide through by supporting all along.

On Saturday, however, I decided to chin up and face this current “situation”. So I went on a massive cleaning spree (yeah, that is what I do)! I scrubed and cursed and repeated the process a number of times. The result, a livable, sparkling home 🙂

We also went to a bad bad bad Indian restaurant, called the Taste of India. Quite honestly I was super excited to go to this restaurant as I have tried their other branch in Nashville and they have a superb menu with great choices and tasty food. This one on the contrary, had a very small (and tasteless) menu with no novelty whatsoever. They had clumped rice, cold food and no inclination to serve water. $25 on food and 2 hours of fuel down the drain. No pictures taken due to pure disinterest in the food!

Workout: Training wise, I have taken my running outside the gym and all I can say is, running outside is so much different than running on the treadmill. It makes me feel like I am learning to run all over again.

I’ll be back with my regular posting with pictures from tomorrow. Thanks for bearing with this post and I hope to be much cheerful tomorrow.

Bye!
